anomic_bluetoday i was awake at 11:30am, standing wrapped in my duvet pushing around some sauteing onions, as jesse ran to the store for some tinfoil and olives.
it is thanksgiving, so this is forgivable.
jesse has planned this years festivities to be larger scale than last year.
so far, we know for sure that Jesse, Tabby, Ireena, Q, Toby, Todd and myself will be eating.
we will be dining on salad, garlic potatoes, broccolli and cauliflower with cheese sauce, candied yams, pies, cheesecake...
and, as jesse described it "this is my everest"...
a 10.5 kilo turkey, for those of you like me who fail to understand metric- thats 22.9 pounds.
its in the oven as i write this, and the apartment is suffused with the scent of cooking meat.
we're all very excited.
